Courts Martial Representation Nationwide

Since 1980, attorney Guy Womack has worked extensively with the Uniform Code of Military Justice in representing military personnel charged with criminal offenses. Guy Womack is a retired Lt. Colonel of Marines. He served 10 years active duty in the United States Marines Corps. Subsequent to active duty, he continued his service in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for 10 more years.

Courts-martial are conducted in accordance with the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Because of this, Military Law is a highly specialized area of practice. The difference between a positive or negative outcome can depend greatly on an attorney’s experience with the military’s court procedures and knowledge of the rules of evidence. Attorney Guy Womack’s experience in military courts and with military procedure is extensive. He represents clients in every branch of the military and throughout every phase of the military justice system, including for courts-martial appeals, sex offenses, assault, fraud crimes and drug offenses. He will travel internationally to assist you with your matter.

Guy Womack prefers to defend his clients by aggressively exercising their constitutional rights to confront their accusers and to a trial by jury. Only in the case where a conviction is certain, he will employ his skills in a different manner, negotiating for the lowest possible sentence.

Experienced Representation at Courts-Martial Proceedings

In 2004, Guy Womack traveled to Baghdad, Iraq, where he represented a U.S. Army soldier accused of abuses in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.  You may have seen or read of the firm's handling of this case on CNN, ABC, Fox News, MSNBC, The Wall Street Journal, The Associated Press, or your local news. Guy Womack has also appeared on numerous networks as a commentator on military law matters.

In as much as Lt. Col. Womack is a retired Officer of Marines, he can travel aboard military aircraft to all posts or sites where US personnel are located.
